A survivors roguelike running on a Warcraft client engine.
Azeroth Survivors is a free fan game by Aethus that brings the survivors formula, the one Vampire Survivors made popular, into the World of Warcraft world. You choose a race, a class and a zone, then hold out against waves of the creatures that really live there. Your spells fire on their own. You steer, and every few minutes a boss walks in.
Under the hood is benilla, an open-source Warcraft 1.12.1 client written in Rust with Bevy, compiled to WebAssembly. There is no game server and no account, so the whole run happens on your machine.

What a run looks like
How a run works
-
Build your hero
Eight races, both genders, and every class each race is allowed to be.
-
Choose a battleground
Zones range from Elwynn Forest to the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj, each with its own creatures and bosses.
-
Let the spells work
Abilities cast automatically. Your job is position: move well and stay out of the pile.
-
Pick a card, every level
Three upgrades appear, and each one states its exact change, like Damage 20 to 26.
-
Beat the boss clock
Named bosses arrive on a schedule, and the last one ends the zone. Standing still loses to the timer.
-
Escape with a class spell
From level 5, press F for Blink, Charge, Sprint and friends, aimed at your cursor.

- WASDMove. Arrow keys work too.

Questions
Is this the same as WoW Survivors or Warcraft Survivors?
Yes. Players also call it WoW Survivors, Warcraft Survivors or simply the Azeroth Survivor game. It first spread through a launch thread on Reddit's r/wowservers.
Is it like Vampire Survivors?
It follows the same loop: move, auto-attack, level up, survive. The difference is the setting, a Warcraft zone full of its own creatures. It has no connection to Vampire Survivors itself.
Is it really free?
Yes. It is a fan project with no account, no login and no payment. Your picks are remembered in your own browser.
Why is the first load so long?
The client gathers the whole world before it draws its first frame, which can take a couple of minutes on a slow connection. Your browser keeps it afterwards, so the next visit opens in seconds.
Which browsers can run it?
It needs WebGPU: current Chrome, Edge or Safari 26 and later. Firefox needs a flag. On Linux Chrome, enable chrome://flags/#enable-unsafe-webgpu.
The game says "Too many people are playing".
The game host limits daily requests. Try again in a few minutes, or use the official page, which also lists a Windows download.
Can I play on a phone?
It is built for keyboard and mouse, so a laptop or desktop is the right fit.
Is this the official site?
No. This is an unofficial fan page. The game is made and hosted by Aethus, and the page is not affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment.
